I have fond memories of spending lunches and recesses in the music room. Sometimes, it would just be me practicing guitar; other times, friends would join me, and we would swap between the different instruments. I know that several talent show acts came out of those sessions, and several of us nurtured an interest in performing that lasted well after our time at Calvert. It was a classic example of Calvert exposing students to a broad spectrum of disciplines and encouraging us to go deeper into the ones that resonated most with us.
